Upgrade your transmission with the Sonnax 3-5-R Drum Saver Kit, available at Sussex Autos. This kit is an effective and affordable way to protect against failures and costly comebacks. The improved Sonnax waved plate is shot-peened like the updated OE plate but designed with no teeth to eliminate virtually all stress points. Positioned on the drum with the custom, cupped steel plate, it guarantees the best protection against plate and drum failure.

Enhanced Durability: Shot-peened, toothless waved plate is stronger and more durable than any other OE or aftermarket plate.

Custom Fit: Custom, billet cupped steel plate aligns the waved plate on the drum and sets correct clutch clearance.

Restoration: Quickly and easily restores normal 3-5-R operation to damaged drums, saving the hassle and expense of assembling a new one.

Comprehensive Kit: Contents include a cupped steel plate and a waved plate.

The drum saver kit can also be used to salvage a damaged drum, allowing the waved plate to ride in this area without hanging up or interfering with proper clutch pack travel.
